So my manager apparently does these cute "wreaths" made of candy tied to a tinfoil wreath form and hangs them around the department as Christmas decoration. There is also a scissors hanging with said wreath, so we can cut off the "morsel of our choosing" (as she put it). And inevitably the wreath for my section of the department was placed right across the row from me so I get to look at it all day. My fabulous cube mate and I have decided we are boycotting the morsels and have moved our rows wreath to the desk of an individual so it can be his "own personal wreath". Not only was it candy, but attached to this wreath was one of my favorite candies in the whole wide world...the Lindt Lindor Truffles....all different colors and flavors and of course, all of them amazing! Some of my coworkers KNOW these are my favorites and I have explained that I am choosing not to have any of them due to my binging issues....I can't have just one piece. So from that point forward, one coworker has given me one and when I refused she thought it would be funny to leave a little "treat" for me at my desk, hidden in the hood of my coat. When I took it back to her it was thrown at me as I walked away, so I decided if I can't give it back I'll use it to get back....this poor little blue truffle could've been eaten and enjoyed by someone, but instead it has been stabbed with T pins, labeled "the devil" and serves as a voo doo doll for the chocolate pushers who tease and taunt me like they are making a commission on chocolate consumption.
A little note to the demon chocolate pushers....it's not going to work! I'm stronger than that and I'm sorry that you want me to suffer the insulin resistance you, yourself can not get a grip on, but it's not going to happen. The more you push, the more I will fight and this little truffle had to suffer because of it and be sacrficed as a warning to others. Eat the damn chocolate and get on with your day. I don't need to watch you slowly unwrap and savor every morsel like some type of chocolate pornography LOL!
