So lately I’ve decided that I need to start introducing exercise to my routine.  I’ve been eating moderately healthy, though there is always room for improvement, but I think I’m ready for workouts now.  I have found an AWESOME app in the iPhone app store (I would guess it’s also available on Android) called “Gorilla Workout” which uses NO equipment and VERY little time.  There are different levels (4, I believe) and 20 different workouts in each level.  In addition, there are descriptions of each of the exercises so you know you are doing them correctly.  It’s awesome so far and I’m definitely feeling the workouts!
In addition, a couple of my Biggest Loser challengers and I were talking about stretching at our desks…while it may not directly impact weight loss, this is about being healthy….not just losing weight, so I thought I would share a website I found that has a whole list of stretches you can do right at your desk.  http://exercise.about.com/od/flexibilityworkouts/tp/officestretches.htm
Weigh in results this week???  Up 3.4 lbs!  I'm not discouraged at all.  I'm mad and when I get mad....LOOK OUT WORLD!  It only makes me more determined!
Last night's dinner was amazing!  I put a boneless turkey roast in the crockpot and when I got home I shredded it up and combined it with Archer Farms Mixed Whole Grain Medley (cooked and leftover from a shrimp stir fry), 2 bags of frozen veggies and some 99% fat free low sodium chicken stock and rosemary....ooooooh how I love rosemary with chicken!!!  Here is a picture of the Whole Grain Medley for anyone interested.  It's pretty good and high in lots of good carbs, fiber, protein, etc!!
